 | ILMEA Auditions for Concert Band & Jazz Band Sat., 10/6 |
The ILMEA District 5 is holding auditions for jazz band, concert band, strings, and choir on Columbus Day (10/9/17) at Effingham High School in Effingham, IL.
The departure time is 7:00 AM behind the rehearsal hall (we shall be using an activity bus). The return time for the bus is extimated to be around 1 PM.
Students are to wear appropriate audition attire (slacks, blouse, button up shirt, tie, belt, dress shoes, etc.). Students are also encouraged to bring a cell phone so that they may call a parent (or guardian) should they need a ride upon returning back to Olney.
The Effingham Band Boosters is most likely providing concessions, for those that are interested. We will also stop for lunch in Effingham before returning home.
The schedule is as follows:
6:50 AM............Call-time in the rehearsal hall
7:00 AM............Depart for Effingham High School in Effingham, IL
8:00 AM............Arrive at Effingham High School (register for an audition slot as soon as possible!)
9:00 AM............Auditions begin
12:30 AM..........Depart for Olney, IL
1:30 PM..........Estimated arrival in Olney, IL
